Swain Advance facilitates the outplacement process for individuals seeking employment in Canada.
The program assists an individual with finding employment, and teaches them to become aware of the career opportunities for which they are best suited, in their current field or new.
Our executive outplacement package can include:
- A private office in a positive, focused environment where the transitioning employee can establish themselves for the outplacement period, including: phone, internet connection, computer, color printer, fax machine, receptionist, local newspapers and a courier delivery address.

- Computer-assisted research of potential employers and Web-based job research training
- Financial planning
- Creation of personal marketing materials for an effective re-employment campaign

Over the course of an outplacement contract Swain Advance teaches the participant, helping them become confident in their search, while a high level of interaction and structure keeps them motivated.
Swain Advance also leverages its relationship with industry experts in management psychology, human resources, and in various industries to reach out on the prospect's behalf for skill building, briefings in specific sectors and general networking.
An on-site gym augments the program with optional fitness programs available, encouraging a 'healthy mind, healthy body - healthy body, healthy mind' mentality.
Program Duration:
The Swain Advance outplacement program has several durations available based on the sponsor company's level of support. While employing an individual 'As Soon As Possible' is ideal, a period of time wherein the participant has the opportunity to come to terms with their re-employment status is to be expected.
Therefore, Swain Advance allows sponsor companies to purchase a set amount of time to which the program will be tailored, as well as a more open-ended arrangement that truly prioritizes getting the participant back to work.
